Optimization Partner provides consulting services and know-how within the field of optimization. In cooperation with clients and other software companies we develop optimization based decision support systems. The company was founded in 2000 by two scientists, Dr. Ulf Brännlund and Dr. Stefan Feltenmark, from the Division of Optimization and Systems Theory at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. This background is reflected in the driving force for the company, which is to put into practice, the optimization knowledge, that during many years has been built up within academia.We believe that optimization can successfully be applied to most areas in industry and society. However, only in a few areas, optimization technology has been used to large extent. Our ambition is to take an active part in this technology transfer, and represent commercially available competence in optimization.
